Killiney & Bray & Dun Laoghaire, Oh My!

Before we begin, I had a specific request of a picture of me not doing a fishy face; an appearance unheard of. Well, we were at this delicious over-priced (as everything is) restaurant and we happened upon such picture:
Saturday, a group of six of us decided to take a little journey through te countryside nearest Dublin. We took the Dart (which is this train-like light rail) down to Killiney and walked down to Bray, where we then took the Dart back up to Dun Laoghaire (pronounce Dun Leereie for those of you who have not seen P.S. I Love You) for some dinner.
Along theway was the the town Booterstown: c'mon, you have to laugh...
The scenery along the way was beyond beautiful. I got to see, what I believe, is the Atlantic Ocean!
When we got off the train and started our way towards Bray, supposed to be about a 45 minute walk, we ran into some beautiful houses!

Of course, then we got lost about three times and had to ask people for directions...Luckily, the Irish are incredibly lovely!
When we finally figured out were we were at, we ran into snowy hills and towns you would only think to see in the movies.

Yes, that is sheep.

We finally made it to Bray (after about an hour and a half) and strolled about the town looking at all the pretty churches they had.

We made it by Dart to Dun Laoghaire and was surprised to find it to be quite a big town.

We didn't end up eating there, because there was no seating as apparently most fish and chips places are solely take-out, but I thought it was cute...
Today, the two girls that are from ASU and I went to the Irish Writers Museum and saw so many first edition books and learned a lot about the literature and authors from Ireland.
It was actually really cool: I learned about Yeats and Wilde and people that I probably should know but don't really. I supposed I'll just learn about them in the three (count that, three) literature classes I'm taking.
As promised, here is landscape of my room:
First you walk in and on your right is the bathroom (there is a door)...
*please note the two different faucets: the left has scalding hot water, the right has brain-freezing water. Not very ideal...
and on your left is the closet with only one hangers bar and either a long short shelf or a deep shelf...
and yes, that is a ladybug laundry basket!
As you continue on, you will see my desk, again with very little shelf space and no drawers...
And finally you turn to the right and see my bed with a lovely blue duvet and pillow cover.
In front of that is my window with a nasty draft, to where I am able to put my water and bananas next to, to keep them cold.

I start my classes tomorrow and I'm quite anxious. I walked around campus today and saw a lot of groups and it seems like everyone already knows each other since it is such a small campus. And, all the girls dress up in boots and legging and skirts and nice outfits. I just like to roll out of bed. But we'll see what happens. It's pretty much the adventure of a lifetime!
Oh! And this weekend we're taking a trip to Galway and the next a trip to Cork.
I'm beyond excited! I just hope I don't run out of money...
I hope you enjoyed. Until next time!
